宏音齋歷經吳氏家族五代人百余年傳承,伴隨中國民族音樂事業的發展,對中國民族管樂進行了全面的繼承、創新、發展。使中國民族管樂煥然一新,統一了中國民族管樂器的制作標準,搶救、挖掘了大批瀕臨滅絕的少數民族樂器,復活了千年古樂器、再現了宮廷器,并研發了多種民族管樂器。宏音齋是現代民族管樂器的誕生發源之地、瀕危少數民族樂器的再生之地、千年古樂的復活之地、宮迋樂器的再現之地,件件樂器記錄了中國民族管樂器的發展歷程,是民族管樂器發展的一部教科史書。宏音齋吳氏幾代人,幾十年如一日與中國演奏大師們共同合作,為嗩吶標準化、系列化、現代化的發展,奠定了技術基礎,開創了宏音齋對加鍵嗩吶高中、低音全面研發的里程。使中國民族管樂器從解放初只有高音樂器,沒有中低音樂器,發展到現在高音、中音、次中音、低音、倍低音,現代化、系列化的民族交響編制,裝備著中國現代化的民族樂團,為中國民族音樂事業的發展做出了突出貢獻。

With the development of Chinese national music, Hong Yin Zhai Wu generations cooperated with virtuosos decade as if one day which lays the technology foundation for Suona’s standardization, serialization and modernization meanwhile initiates the way to the research of treble, alto and bass keyed Suona. Before the founding of new China, the national wind instruments were only in treble. However, with the efforts of Hong Yin Zhai Wu family, Chinese wind instrument now has all the tunes. The Chinese wind instrument which standardized, serialized and modernized by the Wus equipped the Chinese modern Orchestra. Hong Yin Zhai made outstanding contributions to Chinese national music.
